This week our listings showed an average of 1.5 times each. Believe it or not, the final week of November is here marking the beginning of the holiday season. It will be very interesting to see how our economy fares during what is typically the busiest time of the year for retail sales and consumer spending. It is also the time of year where its important to remember that its not all about the markets and the economy. I, for one, am certainly guilty of needing that reminder.
This fall we have witnessed a historical downturn in our markets and economy. Perhaps the sacrifices that many of us now have to make will help us to better appreciate that which will still have! We will continue to push through these difficult times and sooner or later the market will turn back in the other direction. Next week, I’ll return to business as usual reporting the facts of the real estate market place. But for now, Happy Thanksgiving and enjoy that turkey! 🙂
