W Update: SouthPark Neighborhood Feature

Ah, SouthPark. Even the newest-of-the-new Charlotte residents have probably heard of it. Upon landing in Charlotte and asking for advice on what to do, surely one of the most recommended areas to explore is SouthPark; and for good reason!

SouthPark is a hub for so many neighborhoods. It’s just minutes from the homes located on and around Sharon Road, Carmel Road, Quail Hollow and Park Road.

Within the nucleus of the gorgeous, intertwining neighborhoods you’ll find pocket upon pocket of areas to explore. Not only do you have the all-encompassing SouthPark Mall, but you also have several, smaller shopping centers with some niche stores like Winestore, EarthFare Market, Boem and more. After you empty your pockets redecorating your home at Restoration Hardware and HomeGoods, you can pop over to some of our favorite restaurants such as Dean and Deluca, Paco’s Tacos, Treehouse or Cowfish Sushi Burger. Then – after you’re stuffed full, you can finally relax while watching a movie at Phillips Place.

Pop over to Piedmont row for some even more delicious dining options with places like Brio and Freshii or fit in a quick workout at the Harris Express – a satellite location of the popular Harris YMCA on Quail Hollow.

Symphony Park offers gorgeous views for your morning or afternoon strolls! Plus, you won’t want to miss the outdoor concert series, Summer Pops, featured in the park’s amphitheater.

In our opinion, SouthPark is a slam dunk. If you’re searching for an area with both convenience and variety, you can’t really go wrong!
